Since 1998, I have been attempting to create new surfaces through collage that express my desire for balance and beauty in everyday life. The materials that I am drawn to have character created by the passing of time, and reflect the beauty found in nature. I often combine elements from diverse cultures and time periods because of my belief that all humanity is inherently similar. My goal is to draw attention to the universal connections between people through our desires and our understanding of beauty.
